  • Avoid problems with waste emptying

Sub-zero temperatures can cause waste and bin lids to freeze. Please check your bin before collection. Here's how you can help:
    1. Make sure the waste hasn't frozen to the bin.
    2. Do not fill the bin above the maximum fill level.
    3. Loosen the waste if needed. When the snow arrives, remember to clear snow and spread grit around your bin to prevent slipping. Is your bin damaged and no longer functioning properly? Report it through our online service.
