Review: Detailed development plan for the property Sävast 9:23 and others: part of Gruvbergsvägen - Häradsvägen

The municipality of Boden is planning a new detailed development plan for Gruvbergsvägen to enable additional areas for businesses and industry near Boden Industrial Park.

Purpose and background

The green transition and the establishment of the new Boden Industrial Park have created an increased need for industrial and commercial properties in Boden Municipality.

Developing new business areas near the industrial park, with strong connections to existing and planned infrastructure, is therefore a key priority in the municipality’s community development efforts.

Plan proposal

The purpose of the detailed development plan is to explore the possibility of creating new building rights primarily for business and industrial use.
In the northern part of the planning area, there is also potential for the construction of a fuel station, electric vehicle charging points, and a restaurant.

The plan proposal aligns with both the municipality’s comprehensive plan and the detailed comprehensive plan for Torpgärdan, Södra Svartbyn, and Gruvberget.

Process and decisions

As the plan proposal is considered to be of significant public interest, it is being processed through an extended procedure in accordance with the Planning and Building Act (2010:900).

The municipality has assessed that the implementation of the proposed plan is not expected to result in any significant environmental impact.

Review

The detailed development plan has been available for public review. The proposed plan will be considered by the municipal council in 2026.
