About the project
Boden Game Incubator is a business incubator for the games industry in Norrbotten and Västerbotten. The project is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the early stages of development and provides support in business development, market development and technical development.
The goal is to strengthen the competitiveness of participating companies, increase opportunities for growth and contribute to a sustainable games industry in northern Sweden.
What we are doing
The project is establishing an incubator that will provide long-term support for game development companies.
Participants receive support in developing business models, refining game concepts and creating market strategies. Through mentoring, training programmes and professional networks, companies are given opportunities to grow and strengthen their market position.
The project also works to attract investment, create partnerships and prepare companies for international launches and expansion.
At the same time, new methods and working practices are being developed to ensure that the incubator can continue supporting companies after the project has ended.
Timeline and current status
During the project period, the incubator’s operations, facilities and digital infrastructure are being established. Companies are recruited into the programme and receive support through business development, mentoring and training activities.
Progress is continuously monitored to ensure a sustainable long-term operation beyond the project period.
