About the project

The project will help develop the Råne River Valley into an attractive place to live, work and thrive. By working together with the people who live and work in the area, the project aims to create good conditions for future development and attract new residents.

What we are doing

The project is developing a shared vision for the future of the Råne River Valley. The work is carried out in dialogue with residents, local associations, businesses and other stakeholders.

The project will also develop guidelines and recommendations to support the municipality's spatial planning. The aim is to create a model for area development that can also be used by local associations.

Timeline and current status

The dialogue with residents and other stakeholders has been completed, and the results have been compiled. Work is now underway on a shared vision for the area's development and on the planning documents needed for the next stage of the project.

Funding, collaborations and responsibilities

The project is carried out in collaboration with RÅEK – the Råne River Valley Council in Gunnarsbyn Parish Economic Association.

The project is mainly funded by Region Norrbotten.
