First entrepreneurial housing in place

Nylandsbäcken in Boden was the first area for temporary entrepreneurial housing that started during the winter. Accommodation for around 130 people is planned. Ground preparation work has been carried out during the spring and the first buildings are now in place.

The pace of H2 Green Steel’sconstruction is accelerating and is expected to peak in 2025 with several thousand construction workers on site in Boden. Already now, the number of employees is gradually increasing.

Temporary building permits with common requirements

According to a political decision in 2021, the Municipality of Boden will provide land and temporary building permits for approximately 3,000 temporary accommodations. The temporary accommodation is intended for staff working in Boden during the construction period.

H2 Green Steel is responsible for the construction, maintenance and restoration of the areas.

In the main areas selected for entrepreneur housing, common requirements have been set for location, standard, and maintenance. This is to ensure comfort and security for residents, businesses, and neighbors.

Right now, preparations are also underway in the Slipvägen 1 area where approximately 660 residences are planned. Building permits have also been granted at the Boden Business Park in Sävast.
