In Boden, we are developing our larger industrial areas so that companies can cooperate and make use of each other’s energy, materials and by-products. This means that one company’s surplus can become a resource for another – for example heat, water, materials or waste that can be reused.

Through industrial symbiosis, more value is created than just the production itself. It reduces waste, saves energy and opens up new business opportunities. In this way, our industrial areas become more resource-efficient, more sustainable and better prepared for future demands.
