Fritidsbanken Boden

Borrow sports and outdoor equipment at Fritidsbanken in Boden – easy, free, and open to everyone.

Borrow equipment

At Fritidsbanken, you can borrow sports and leisure equipment completely free of charge. Everything from balls and rackets to skis and skates is available.

How it works:

  1. Visit Fritidsbanken at Kungsgatan 26 G.
  2. Choose the equipment you want to try.
  3. Fill out a simple form on-site.
  4. Borrow the equipment for up to 14 days, then return it.

The equipment is second-hand and normal wear and tear is expected. If something breaks or gets lost, you are not required to pay for it.

Opening hours and contact

  • Shop: Monday–Friday 11:00–16:00.
  • Phone hours: Monday–Friday 09:00–16:00. Phone: 0921-621 33

The shop will be closed, and phone lines will be unavailable from 23–28 December, 31 December–1 January, and 3–6 January.

Loan rules

Everyone can borrow equipment, but for items that may carry a risk of injury, such as downhill skis, parental consent is required for borrowers under 18. All activities are at your own risk.

Donate equipment

Fritidsbanken gladly accepts used sports and outdoor equipment.

How to donate:

  1. Sort through your sports gear.
  2. Drop it off at the shop on Kungsgatan 26 G or in the collection container behind the building.

All equipment is sorted and safety-checked before being loaned out to others.
