AVAILABLE PLOTS

Dreaming of building a new home? Boden Municipality offers a varied range of plots for sale, both close to town and in the countryside. There is something for everyone. The municipality sells undeveloped (“raw”) plots, which means the buyer pays for site preparation, foundations, and utility connections such as electricity, water and sewerage, and related services.

Unbyn

Unbyn sits beautifully on the Lule River about sixteen kilometres south of Boden. The village has open farmland, well-preserved buildings and active agriculture and forestry.

Services and everyday life

You will find basic community services, a preschool and a primary school from reception to year six, bus connections and a lively association life.

Nature and outdoor life

The riverside setting attracts families and offers easy access to outdoor activities by the river and in the countryside.

Plots and building

Minimum plot size is 1,200 square metres. Maximum building footprint is 300 square metres. Maximum building height is 4.2 metres (about one to one and a half storeys). Plots are sold as raw plots. Water and sewer are available at the plot boundary. District heating and fibre broadband are not installed.

Sörbyn

Sörbyn lies in the Råne River valley, a scenic area that attracts visitors. The village has a hotel, restaurant, campsite and cabins.

Services and everyday life

Service, school and preschools are available in Gunnarsbyn.

Nature and outdoor life

By Lake Vitträsket there is a bathing area with jetties and a diving tower, a wood-fired sauna and a summer kiosk. You will also find an historic festival ground with dance floors and an outdoor stage, a football pitch, lit tracks, hiking paths, winter trails and snowmobile routes. There are overnight huts for longer outings.

Minimum plot size is 1,174 square metres. Plots are sold as raw plots. Water and sewer are available in the area.

Gunnarsbyn

Gunnarsbyn is part of the community in the Råne River valley. The village has a beautiful wooden church, a strong cultural and civic life and many events year-round.

Services and everyday life

There is a community service point, grocery shop, recycling centre and second-hand shop. The village also has a preschool and a primary school from reception to year six with after-school care.

Nature and outdoor life

The area offers rich nature and outdoor opportunities with river valley, forest and lakes. Entrepreneurship is strong, especially in the visitor economy.

Plots and building

There are plots of approximately 1,074 and 1,258 square metres. Plots are sold as raw plots. Water and sewer are available at the plot boundary.
