Why recycling stations exist
Packaging is covered by producer responsibility. This means that producers must ensure their packaging is collected and recycled. Recycling stations make it easy for households to sort packaging so the materials can be reused.
It is therefore important that only packaging is left at a recycling station. Only packaging is covered by producer responsibility.
