Avoid problems with waste emptying
Sub-zero temperatures can cause waste and bin lids to freeze. Please check your bin before collection. Here's how you can help:
1. Make sure the waste hasn't frozen to the bin.
2. Do not fill the bin above the maximum fill level.
3. Loosen the waste if needed.When the snow arrives, remember to clear snow and spread grit around your bin to prevent slipping.Is your bin damaged and no longer functioning properly? Report it through our online service.

We answer your questions about the new parking regulations
New parking regulations have been in effect at some municipal parking areas in central Boden since 16 September. If you need help getting started with a parking app or have questions about the payment machine, you are welcome to meet representatives from the municipality at the following times:
Tuesday, 13 October, 13:00–15:00
Municipal Executive Board Meeting Room, ground floor, City Hall
Wednesday, 14 October, 15:00–17:00
Municipal Council Chamber, ground floor, City Hall
Friday, 16 October, 10:00–12:00

Parking signs are being updated
At some parking areas in central Boden, signs explaining how to register and pay for parking are still missing. Some locations also have older signs stating that a parking disc should be used.Always check the signs where you park. The signs at the location show which rules apply. If a sign says that a parking disc is required, you should continue to use one until the signs have been replaced.No parking enforcement will take place at locations where information about registration or payment is missing.Work to update the signs is ongoing. We apologise for any confusion this may cause.

Pedestrian and cycle bridge under Kyrkgatsbron closed until further notice
The pedestrian and cycle bridge under Kyrkgatsbron has been severely damaged by the high water flows. The bridge is therefore closed until further notice. We are working as quickly as possible to repair it.

Recycling station at Stora Coop closed
As Coop needs to use its entire parking area, the recycling station at Stora Coop in Boden have been closed. Alternative recycling stations are available, including on Kaptensgatan and at ICA Kvantum. Find recycling stations External link.

Information about public skating
Construction work is currently underway at Hive Arena, and Airdome will be closed. We therefore do not yet know when public skating will be able to start. We will update the information as soon as we know more.

Meet the Social Services at Enter Galleria
After the summer break, the Social Services team is back for more great conversations with Boden residents. We're now meeting at a new time and place: at Enter Galleria, by the entrance facing the pedestrian street, every Tuesday from 11am to 1pm. Come by and talk to us!
