Summer jobs
If you are around 16-17 years old you can apply for a summer job with Boden Municipality.

Who can apply?
To be eligible for a summer job you must:
- Be around 16-17 years old.
- Have completed compulsory school or the first year of upper secondary school.
- Be registered as a resident in Boden Municipality.
- Apply before the deadline.
- Not have another summer job.
Work periods
The summer jobs are divided into three periods (OBS! these are not exact dates, visit jobbcenter.se for current dates):
- Period 1: June 16 – July 6
- Period 2: July 7 – July 27
- Period 3: July 28 – August 17
Working hours
- You will work 6–8 hours per day.
- You are entitled to at least a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
- You can work a maximum of 120 hours in total.
- Young people may not work between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
If you work for an association, the working day can be either 6 or 8 hours depending on the tasks available. Ask the association directly about the daily hours.
Supervisor
At your workplace you will have a supervisor who will:
- Support you throughout the day and the whole work period.
- Provide information about the workplace and your tasks.

Boden Municipality uses Nordea bank for salary payments. To receive your salary in your account, you need to register your account number with Nordea.
