Purpose of the follow-up
The follow-up provides a basis for decisions, planning, and any necessary actions. It shows how the municipality works to achieve its goals and use resources efficiently.
Monthly reports
Three times a year, monthly reports are submitted to the Municipal Executive Committee. They include financial monitoring and a forecast of the financial results at the end of the year.
Interim reports
Two interim reports are prepared each year, after April and after August:
- The report after April is simplified and focuses only on finances.
- The report after August is more comprehensive and also includes operations and the strategic plan.
Annual report
The annual report is prepared once a year and summarizes the entire year’s results for goals, operations, and finances.
Committees’ operational reports
At the same time as the interim reports and the annual report are prepared, each committee submits its own operational report. These reports show how the committees’ operational plans have been followed up.
