Support for Job Seekers
We offer support to anyone who needs help entering the labour market. Our priority groups are:
- Young people
- Newly arrived immigrants
- People with disabilities
- People who face other barriers to employment
We can help you with:
- Job preparation activities and projects
- Internship placements
- Temporary employment within the municipality
- Daily activities and supported employment
- Summer jobs for young people
- Activities for young people aged 16–24 who have not completed upper secondary school
- Study and career guidance
- Swedish for Immigrants (SFI)
- Adult education
- Refugee reception and introduction to society
We work closely with other municipal departments, local businesses, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and external organisations.
Education for Children and Young People
We are responsible for preschools, compulsory schools, and upper secondary schools in the municipality.
Our goals:
- Children and students should feel safe and included.
- Everyone should develop curiosity and a love of learning.
- We always start from each child’s needs and interests.
- We give children and young people the courage and knowledge to face future challenges.
