Municipal executive department

This area handles HR and payroll matters for the municipality’s employees. We are also responsible for recruiting new staff.

The emergency services are responsible for protecting lives, the environment, and property in Boden.

We provide a rich cultural and recreational life for all residents, with special support for children, young people, and people with disabilities.

We operate and develop the municipality’s IT systems and digital services. Support and operations are also managed here.

We work for the long-term development of Boden Municipality in the following areas:

• Citizen dialogue and social sustainability.
• Safety and crime prevention.
• Strategic communication for the municipality’s brands.
• Security measures to ensure municipal operations function during crises.

We manage committee administration, records and archives, Citizen Services, the legal guardian authority, as well as budget and debt counselling.
