What are municipal advisory councils?

Municipal advisory councils are forums where residents and the municipality meet for dialogue and consultation. They do not make binding decisions but provide advice, share experiences and highlight local needs. This helps the municipality make better decisions and ensures that different groups in society are heard and involved in local development.
