As an election official you help ensure that the election is carried out correctly, safely and fairly. Over 200 people are needed in Boden’s 18 districts.

What does the role involve?
Work on election day
You work in a polling station together with other election officials. The station is led by a chair and a vice chair. Tasks include receiving votes, checking the electoral roll, and after closing, reviewing and counting ballots for the preliminary result and reporting to the County Administrative Board. You receive taxable compensation.
Requirements and skills
You need to:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Speak Swedish well enough to assist voters
- Be service-minded, accurate and able to handle stress
- Complete mandatory training before the election
Application and staffing
The Election Committee Office begins staffing the districts around the new year and will then contact you with more information. Recruitment continues on an ongoing basis. By submitting an expression of interest, you show that you are willing to work on election day.
