Road closures during Boden Alive
Roads will be closed to vehicle traffic from 30 June to 7 July due to the Boden Alive festival. Please walk, cycle, or use public transport to reach the city centre if possible.
From Monday 30 June to Monday 7 July, several streets in central Boden will be closed to vehicle traffic because of Boden Alive:
- Kungsgatan will be closed between Hellgrensgatan and Färgaregatan.
- The pedestrian zone on Kyrkgatan will be completely closed to vehicles.
- Drottninggatan will be closed between Färgaregatan and Sadelmakaregatan.
Residents along the closed streets are allowed to drive to their properties. To reach Åcenter, passage is available via Kyrkgatan.
Changed Bus Routes
During this period, buses will not serve the following stops:
- Medborgarplatsen
- Garvaregatan
Passengers are instead referred to:
- Margaretagatan
- Brogatan
- Temporary stop at Strandplan
