In Boden, there is a wide range of public playgrounds offering a variety of activities for children of all ages. Our playgrounds are spread throughout the municipality and are free to visit. We have put together a map so you can easily find a place that suits the whole family for a day full of laughter and play.
5 Popular Playgrounds
Svedjeparken, Bodsvedjan – An accessible playground with climbing frames, swings, and a zip line. There is also a fire ring, tables, and benches – perfect for picnics and spending time with family and friends.
Rubinvägen, Vittjärv – A safe playground especially suitable for younger children. It has a sandbox, swings, and play structures in a calm environment, designed for accessibility and easy to reach with a stroller.
Morotsparken, Sävast – A colourful neighbourhood playground with an obstacle course, climbing pyramid, friendship swing, sandbox, and merry-go-round. Next to the exercise trail, there are also simple workout stations – here you will find something for both play and exercise for all ages.
Smörblommans playground, City Centre – The largest playground in Boden, with play equipment for children aged 2 to 12. There is plenty of space, many play structures, benches, tables, and a fountain to cool off in on warm days.
Björnparken, Svartbjörnsbyn – A recently renovated and accessible playground with climbing nets, swings, and wide paths for wheelchairs. The park also has accessible tables and benches – a nice excursion destination for everyone.
