Thank you, Boden! The water situation is now looking much better

Water production is now better aligned with consumption, reserves are replenished, and we can better handle fluctuations in usage. However, we could end up in the same situation again if we’re not careful, so hold off on the following until it rains:

• Do not wash your car at home
  Do not water the lawn

These recommendations still apply until the rain helps us out of this drought.

Here’s what you can do as usual again:

• Take normal showers
• Go to a car wash that uses recirculated water

Water raised beds, pots, and flowers outdoors – preferably with a watering can
It feels great to allow a bit more flexibility again, especially in this summer heat.

Continue to protect our excellent tap water

Remember that the tap water in Boden is of very high quality, and throughout this entire period, it has remained healthy and clean. It’s actually often better than many bottled mineral waters sold in stores. Water is a vital resource that we all share, and even when the situation is stable, it’s wise to think sustainably.
