Kulturkraft 2025 – the programme is now released!

Boden Municipality is taking part in this year’s edition of Kulturkraft – a regional conference that brings together culture, business and the public sector. The event will be held in Luleå, and both the programme and tickets are now available.

On 20 November, participants from across the county will gather in Luleå for Kulturkraft 2025 – a regional conference where culture, business and the public sector meet to discuss how Norrbotten can become an even more attractive place to live and work. This year’s programme is now confirmed and tickets have been released.

This year’s keynote speakers include:

  • Leo Razzak, entrepreneur, director and founder of Värmeverket – a hub for creatives who want to take the step into entrepreneurship.
  • Mia Wahlström, researcher in urban planning, who highlights the importance of culture in creating attractive living environments.
  • Neil Peterson, project manager with experience from one of Europe’s most successful European Capital of Culture years, where tourism increased significantly through collaboration with the cultural sector.

Date and place: 20 November, Luleå

Kulturkraft all year round

Kulturkraft is more than just a conference. During the year, several “Mini-Kulturkraft” meetings have been arranged in different places across the county – including Boden.

On 25 March, a Mini-Kulturkraft event was held in Boden focusing on the role of culture in the town centre. It was an afternoon of discussions on how culture can contribute to a vibrant centre and strengthen the place’s identity.

Other meetings have addressed rural development, collaboration between culture and business, and social innovation. The aim of Mini-Kulturkraft has been to highlight local perspectives and create dialogue ahead of the joint conference in November.

A shared focus on the future of Norrbotten

Kulturkraft is being arranged for the third consecutive year and brings together participants from across the county with a shared goal: to create a Norrbotten where people want to stay – and move to.

This year’s organisers are Luleå Municipality, Norrbotten Theatre, Region Norrbotten, Piteå Science Park and Boden Municipality.
