Béatrice Öman appointed new Chair of the municipal executive committee in Boden
The Boden Municipal council has today decided to appoint Béatrice Öman (S) as the new Chair of the municipal executive committee (KSO) in Boden Municipality. She succeeds Claes Nordmark (S) in the position.
Before taking on her new role, Béatrice Öman served as Chair of the social welfare committee and as Second vice chair of the municipal executive committee. In recent months, she has also acted as interim group leader for the Social democrats in the municipal council.
“I am grateful and proud of the trust placed in me and look forward to continuing to develop Boden together with its residents, businesses, and community organisations,” says Béatrice Öman, municipal commissioner, Boden Municipality.
Béatrice Öman holds a master’s degree in political science and a bachelor’s degree in literature. She has previously worked as an entrepreneur, among other things.
She has a strong interest in culture and sings in the blues band Rocket 88 & The Rockettes.
