Boden schools are introducing the new learning platform Haldor

The Haldor learning platform offers features that expand the functionality of Teams and help teachers work efficiently. Students have access to planning, assignments, assessments, and grades all in one place in Haldor Education, making it easy to get an overview of their studies. Haldor Education also serves as a digital tool for guardians to follow their children’s learning and development.

Haldor for students

From December 12, Haldor Education is available directly in Microsoft Teams for all students. The tool appears in the menu on the left in Teams. If a student does not see Haldor in the menu, it can easily be added by clicking the three dots in the side menu, searching for Haldor Education, and pinning the app.

Between December 12–19, students will work on one or more assignments in Haldor together with their teachers. The purpose is for students to get familiar with the new system before the full transition in January.

Haldor for guardians

Haldor gives guardians a clear overview of the student’s school situation. In Haldor, you can follow, among other things:

• Current information from the school
• Schedule
• Teaching plans
• Assignments
• Assessments and grades
• Attendance (primary and secondary school)
• Communication with mentors and teachers
• Booking development meetings

From January 8, guardians can log in via the web or use the Haldor Guardian app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. Login is done with BankID, and in exceptional cases, with a username and password.

Haldor also includes Microsoft’s Immersive Reader, which makes information more accessible through read-aloud, translation, and customized text display.

Skola24 – Scheduling system

Skola24 is used by school schedulers and allows management of student and staff schedules. The schedules are directly integrated and visible in Haldor.
