Sustainability Week 2026

This year’s programme offers a variety of activities all around Boden. During the week, you can take part in activities including an International After Work, a car boot sale and the Harvest Festival.

Monday, 24 August

The “One More Time” Exhibition

14:00–16:00. One More Time is a local innovation competition in Boden. The competition is organized for students at Björknäsgymnasiet, in collaboration with ÅterbruksBoden and with Bodens Energi as the prize sponsor. The students from Björknäsgymnasiet present their innovations and showcase their competition entries at Enter Gallerian. Everything is connected to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Welcome to Enter!

Tuesday, 25 August

Come and meet Social Services

11:00–13:00. Free of charge, no registration required. Come and talk to us about our services and how we can support you and your loved ones with a range of issues. You can find us at FöreningsBoden in Enter Galleria every Tuesday between 11:00 and 13:00.

Car Boot Sale at ÅterbruksBoden

10:00–18:00. Drop-in, no pre-booking required. Fill your car with items you want to sell, or come along and find something you need at a great price. A fun activity with reuse at its heart!

Guided tour of Havremagasinet

12:00–12:30. The guided tour is included in the admission fee of SEK 50 (children and young people up to the age of 20 always have free admission). No registration required. Combine your lunch break with art and refreshments. Every Wednesday at 12:00, we offer a guided tour of approximately 30 minutes featuring our current exhibitions.

Business growth discussion with politicians ahead of the election

17:00–20:00. Free of charge, registration required. This meeting gives business owners the opportunity to put questions to our politicians about business issues ahead of the 2026 election. The evening puts entrepreneurship in the spotlight, creating space for facts, discussion and concrete answers.

Load Up North

At Boden Energi Arena, companies, professionals and industry enthusiasts come together to discover the latest developments in construction machinery, transport, roads and infrastructure.

Competitions at Fritidsbanken

11:00–16:00. Free to participate. On Thursday, Fritidsbanken is hosting several competitions where you can win great prizes. Stop by, take part in a competition and take the opportunity to borrow something from the shop.

Harvest Festival in Unbyn
17:30–20:00. UNEK and the gardening association “Potatislandet” invite you to a harvest festival in Unbyn, behind Kilen. The event will include the naming of Unbyn’s own red sunflower, the sale of locally grown produce and flowers, as well as potato and leek soup provided by UNEK.

Kulturnatta and Late-Night Shopping

18:00–20:00. Kulturnatta takes over Boden. Shops in the town centre will stay open until 20:00 – so take a stroll through town, experience the culture and visit our local shops and businesses.

The municipality’s waste management team will also be there to answer questions about near-property waste collection, which will be introduced starting in 2027.
