How the fee is calculated

Fees for permits, pre-application decisions and notifications follow the municipal planning and building fee schedule. The Municipal Council has decided the schedule. Prices can vary.

What affects the price

  • Size of what you plan to build
  • How many neighbours or other affected parties have the right to comment
  • Whether the site is inside a zoned area
  • Whether a planning fee is added

Other charges that may be added

Neighbour consultation

  • If neighbours or other affected parties are invited to comment, a charge is added.
  • Example: approximately 2,600 Swedish kronor when three to five parties are consulted.
  • For a pre-application decision or a larger project with more affected parties, the charge can be higher.

Site plan base map

  • If the project needs a site plan base map for new construction, a separate charge is added.
