Fees for environmental supervision and food control
The municipality charges fees for applications, notifications and supervision. You either pay a fixed fee or for the time we spend handling your case.

How the fee is calculated
The municipality charges fees for inspections, notifications and supervision within environmental and health protection. You pay either a fixed fee or for the time we spend processing your case. The cost is hourly rate × processing time.
Processing time includes supervision, as well as preparation, contacts, consultation, travel, inspections, audits, sampling and other checks. Billing is per started half hour. Evenings, nights and weekends are billed at 1.5 times the hourly rate.

Payment and exemptions
- No fee is charged for unfounded complaints or processing caused by appeals.
- The Environment and Building Committee may reduce or waive the fee in special cases.
- Pay within the time stated in the decision or on the invoice.
