Fees for market stalls and public spaces
Here you’ll find the fees and rules for market stalls and other public space permits in Boden Municipality.

How the fee works
- Market stall pitches are free of charge until further notice.
- Electricity is included for market stalls, but an additional electricity fee may apply for larger events.
- Penalty per day if a booked pitch is not cancelled.
- Unreturned key is charged at a fixed amount.
- Restoration of green areas and streets is charged according to current price lists. Costs for road closures, cleaning, water and sewer, and electricity may be added by quote or price list.
- Indexation: Fees are adjusted each 1 January to the Consumer Price Index (November of the previous year) and rounded to whole SEK.
- Reductions: In special cases the municipality may reduce the fee considering purpose, benefit or other circumstances.
No fee is charged by the municipality for the following uses:
- Political organisations or non-profit associations with a charitable purpose and non-profit activities
- Information about association activities
- Relief work, fundraising for charitable purposes, and similar activities
- Demonstrations, marches, parades, or fun runs that do not occupy land for stages, tents, or similar structures
- Humanitarian purposes and non-profit initiatives that are temporary, limited in scope, and not for profit.

Good to know: Marketplaces are free of charge since June 1, 2015. Electricity costs may apply for larger events.
Fees are adjusted annually on January 1 according to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) by Statistics Sweden (based on November of the previous year) and rounded to the nearest full SEK.
