ABOUT THE INDEPENDENT PRESCHOOL

Små Hopp in Boden provides childcare in Sävast through experienced childminders with long professional experience. The preschool began in 2012 and offers care in a home-like setting where security and small groups are central.

The organisation is run by Stjärnholm Medical AB and has its own waiting list, follows the municipal maximum fee (maxtaxa), and all children are covered by the municipal accident insurance.

Små Hopp collaborates with parents and local businesses to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for every child.

PEDAGOGY AND APPROACH

The educational approach is based on giving each child a calm, harmonious, and inspiring start in life. Play and outdoor exploration form the foundation of daily learning. Children spend much time in the nearby forest and natural surroundings, learning about animals, plants, and ecological cycles.

Activities are planned in pairs of childminders and include sports, excursions, and creative projects. The focus is on the joy of discovery and building social confidence in a safe, familiar environment.

SAFETY AND COOPERATION

Små Hopp in Boden is free from any religious, ideological, or political affiliation. All children and families are welcomed with respect and equal value. The preschool also collaborates with Friluftsfrämjandet, offering membership in Friluftsfrämjandet Boden to interested families.

Parental involvement is central. Many families choose home-based childcare to maintain a close and trusting relationship with their child’s caregivers. Små Hopp aims to provide a safe, inclusive, and participatory environment where every child can grow at their own pace.
