About the preschool
Fröet Preschool is run by the Pentecostal congregation in Boden and is located at Aspgatan 8, Erikslund. The preschool has one group with a maximum of 20 places for children aged 1–6. All children aged 1–5 are welcome to apply. The preschool has its own waiting list. Fees follow the municipal levels. July is fee-free because the preschool is closed for holidays. The notice period is two months.
Meals and food
There is an in-house cook and all meals are prepared on site. Meals begin with an optional table grace, which can be a song or a rhyme.
Pedagogy and approach
Teaching follows the Swedish national preschool curriculum. The Christian profile is reflected in songs and books and by observing Christian holidays. The preschool uses the Tyra app to communicate with guardians about attendance times, information, the preschool blog, and each child’s portfolio.
Safety and cooperation
The preschool is committed to children’s well-being and to the human rights that underpin Swedish society. Staff work responsively, are solution-oriented, and communicate clearly. Every person’s intrinsic value is recognised and sustainability is promoted. Children’s views are taken seriously; each child is supported to form their own opinions and make choices. Staff continuously develop their competence and stay up to date with the Education Act and the national curriculum. Different perspectives are welcomed while remaining united in the Christian profile.
