About the preschool
Perbacken Preschool is located in Svartbjörnsbyn, about three kilometres from central Boden. There are two departments: Bamse and Nalle Puh. Outdoor time every day is a key part of the programme and supports children’s health and need for movement.
Pedagogy and approach
Children and educators work on joint projects during the year. Teaching and documentation follow the Education Act, the national preschool curriculum, and municipal guidelines. Seasonal activities are integrated into learning. The aim is that children thrive and have fun at preschool; together with staff they regularly create simple “rules for well-being” to support a positive, respectful everyday life.
Safety and cooperation
Daily outdoor routines and clear agreements created with the children promote security, participation, and a joyful atmosphere for learning and play. Cooperation with guardians is part of everyday practice.
