About the school
Brönjaskolan is located in Sävast, about 8 km from Boden and 29 km from Luleå. The outdoor environment includes basketball and football courts as well as a sports hall, and the close proximity to the forest provides excellent opportunities for outdoor education.
The staff is organised into three teaching teams, each responsible for one grade level. Our team of a special education teacher and a school speech and language therapist is connected to all teaching teams. The safety team works in a supportive and investigative manner to ensure a safe school environment for students.
The school primarily uses analogue learning materials, but all students have their own computer, and digital learning and assistive tools are also used.
Wellbeing and cooperation
The student health team is a central function, and the school also has a safety team. The work to prevent, investigate, and address harassment and discrimination follows the school’s annual plan, with clear routines, rules of conduct, and systematic follow-up.
Pedagogy and approach
Teaching is planned and reviewed in subject teams. We follow the school’s goals and curriculum.

The school develops teaching together with other schools in the municipality through BUUS – Boden Develops Teaching Systematically.
We mainly use books and other non-digital learning materials, but all students have their own computer, and digital learning tools are also used.
The school offers extra study sessions twice a week after school.
