Digital services for guardians
The Labour Market and Education Department provides digital services for guardians of pupils in municipal schools. Sign in with electronic identification to protect pupil data.
You can access:
- Class lists
- Timetables
- Plans and assessments
- Material for development talks
- Contact details for staff and pupil
- Absence reporting
- Current absence overview
- Grades and national test results
- School-specific information
- Links to related material
All municipal schools in Boden are included. If you have children at several schools, you can switch between them.
Guidelines for leave
Apply for leave using a paper form. Contact the school and the pupil’s mentor or contact teacher.
Application times
- Apply in good time.
- Leave up to 10 days: the school must receive the application at least 14 days before the leave.
- Leave over 10 days: submit the application at least 1 month before the leave.
Plan trips
Plan holidays for school breaks or term-free periods. For trips outside breaks, discuss with the school well in advance and before you book.
Limits for longer leave
Leave exceeding 10 days per school year requires special reasons. Approval is very restrictive. Holidays are not considered special reasons and will not be approved.
Who decides?
- Leave up to 10 days per school year: the responsible teacher forwards to the head teacher for a decision, unless delegated to the teacher.
- Leave over 10 days per school year: the head teacher decides.
What is assessed?
Each case is reviewed. The responsible teacher and the head teacher consider:
- Previous leave and absence during the school year.
- The reasons for the leave.
- Impact on the pupil’s education. If there is uncertainty about goal attainment, attach documented material for the decision-maker.
- How the pupil will take in the course content during the leave, through a special plan kept at the school.
Pupil laptops
If a personal pupil laptop is damaged, complete an incident report and submit it with the laptop to Citizen Services in Boden Municipality.
Before submission:
- Register a case with Customer Service on +46 921 627 20.
- Label the laptop with the case number before you hand it in (for example with a note).
