Step-by-step guide
Please note that all forms and digital applications (e-services) are currently in Swedish. Contact Citizen Service if you need help in English.
1. Read the rules and conditions
Before applying, you should review the municipality’s rules and guidelines for association grants and scholarships. These outline the purpose, target groups, and specific conditions. The rules guide the decisions made by the Culture, Leisure and Youth Committee.
2. Check if the association is registered in Föreningsportalen
All grants are applied for through Boden Municipality’s digital grant and booking system, Föreningsportalen. To be eligible, the association must:
- Be based in Boden and mainly operate here.
- Be non-profit, open to everyone, and democratically organized with statutes, a board, and membership fees.
- Actively work against alcohol, narcotics, doping, and tobacco (ANDT).
- Not be political, religious, commercial, or belong to other excluded categories.
3. Apply through Föreningsportalen
All grants are managed through Föreningsportalen, except “Snabba Cash” which uses a paper form.
To get started:
- The association or administrator submits an authorization form, statutes, and annual meeting documents to the Department of Culture, Leisure and Youth.
