Use the Länstrafiken app and get traffic information

Step-by-step guide
Please note that all forms and digital applications (e-services) are currently in Swedish. Contact Citizen Service if you need help in English.
1. Download and install the app
Start by downloading the Länstrafiken Norrbotten app to your mobile phone.
The app is available for both Android and iPhone and can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store.
Once the app is installed, you can search for departures, find the nearest bus stop and plan your trip.
2. Create an account and choose a payment method
To buy tickets in the app, you need to register an account.
An account ensures that your tickets are saved if you change or lose your phone.
You can pay with a bank card, Swish, Klarna or a company invoice.
When your account is set up, you can buy single tickets or period tickets directly on your phone.
3. Search for a trip and buy a ticket
In the app, you can search for current departure times and see where bus stops are located.
When you have chosen your trip, select the ticket you want and complete the payment.
Your ticket will appear in the app and is shown when you board the bus.
4. Subscribe to traffic information by SMS
If you want information about disruptions on a specific line, you can subscribe to traffic updates by SMS.
Send an email to kundservice@lanstrafikennorrbotten.se
and state which line you want updates for. Customer Service will activate the subscription for you.
To cancel your subscription, email Customer Service again and state which line you want to unsubscribe from.
4.1 View traffic information on the web
In addition to the SMS service, you can always find current traffic information on Länstrafiken’s website.
Updates about delays, cancelled departures and other disruptions are published there.
