Eligibility for transport service
Boden Municipality offers transport service between the assigned school and short-term care if the student:
has an LSS decision for short-term supervision or short-term stay
needs to travel between short-term care and school
How does the transport work?
The transport runs within Boden Municipality between the assigned school and short-term care on school days, with a maximum of two trips per day.
The municipality is responsible for the transport between school and short-term care. Guardians are responsible for the student before and after the journey.
In exceptional cases, the transport may be cancelled, for example due to safety reasons or unforeseen events. In such cases, guardians are responsible for the student’s travel.
Submit a request for transport service
Notify the municipality of the need for transport service by emailing skolskjuts@boden.se.
Attach the student’s LSS decision.
