Work tasks
Based in the Gammeläng premises, we work with reuse and service. Examples:
- make beeswax wraps and insect hotels
- clean parts of the premises
- do laundry and ironing
- manage the stock of office supplies
- pack and deliver office supplies to units within the Work and Daily Activities service
The pace is usually calm. Tasks are rarely physically demanding and can be adapted to you.
Work community and development
You can work in a group or more individually. Participation ranges from a few hours per week to five days per week. Some people take part with a personal assistant.
There are “energy rooms” you can use during the day: spaces for games, creative activities, light exercise and relaxation. This provides variety and support.
Participant examples
Johan looks forward to work; runs a Friday quiz he prepares earlier in the week, and colours comics during breaks.
Support and safety
Everyone has a personal day schedule that shows what to do and when the day ends. We adjust it to your daily condition so you can succeed.
We use alternative communication such as visual supports and signs. The goal is growing independence in a safe environment—there are no production quotas.
