Work tasks
We look after forty-five horses and maintain the stable and grounds. Examples:
- stable care and mucking
- preparing horses for riding lessons
- maintaining surfaces in the indoor arena and on riding tracks
- grass clearing
- light carpentry and repairs
The pace varies. Some tasks require physical effort, but duties can be adapted to suit you.
Work environment and safety
We work close to animals, tools and machinery. We follow clear routines for safety and animal welfare. You receive instruction and support before new tasks.
Work community and development
The goal is for you to feel safe, get support and grow in your role. You receive pedagogical and practical guidance from a team leader.
We collaborate with Boden Riding Club. You can do practice and work training here. For some, this leads on to regular employment. Structured, repeated tasks each day create clarity and confidence.
Participant example
Peter started with short shifts and increased step by step. Enjoyed the varied, physical work, learned new tasks and progressed to a regular job at the riding club.
Support and safety
We adapt tasks and hours to your ability so you can take new steps at your pace.
Work with horses brings calm and focus in the moment. Clear routines and close guidance help you succeed and grow over time.
