What does help at home mean?
Help at home can be both practical support and care in daily life. The goal is for you to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.
The support can, for example, include help with household tasks, personal care, rehabilitation or safety solutions.
Different types of support
There are several kinds of support available if you need help at home. You can receive help through home care services, rehabilitation, safety alarms, assistive devices or housing adaptations.
How does it work?
If you want help at home, an assessment of your needs will be made. Based on that, a decision is taken on what support you can receive. Once the decision is made, the support is planned together with you and followed up regularly so that it can be adjusted if your needs change.
Fees
Help at home is subject to a fee. The cost depends on the type of support you receive. You can find the current fees in the municipality’s information about care and support charges.
