Application and fee
If you have been granted night supervision, it can be provided via a remote care camera. Apply through the municipality’s assistance unit (case officers for support and help at home).
- Call us through Citizen Service at 0921-620 00.
- Phone hours: Monday–Wednesday and Friday, 08:45–09:30.
A remote care camera may suit you if you do not want to risk being woken up, prefer not to have personal visits, or feel uncomfortable letting unfamiliar people into your home.
Fee
The remote care camera is included in the home care fee.
Installing the remote care camera
Municipal staff will contact you and install the camera in your home. It is placed in the bedroom so that your sleeping area is clearly visible.
How the remote care camera works
Night supervision
- We agree with you on the times for supervision.
- Supervision is carried out only by authorised staff and only at the agreed times.
- The camera is active only during these times, and no images are saved.
If supervision does not work
If you cannot be seen on the camera, another check is made after 15–20 minutes. If you still cannot be seen, or if the technology fails, staff will come to your home.
Important to remember
- Do not move, cover or disconnect the camera or the router.
- Using a remote care camera is voluntary, and you can stop the service at any time.
