Älvstrand nursing home is located in central Harads, beautifully situated with a view of the Lule River. Here you will find safe care and good opportunities for outdoor activities.

Activities and community
The facility has a garden, outdoor seating areas, a barbecue spot, and a walking path that encourage outdoor life and social interaction. The aim is to create safety and well-being in daily life for both residents and their families.
Care and support
Älvstrand is staffed around the clock with nurses and care staff. An occupational therapist and physiotherapist are also available on weekdays. The staff work closely together with Edestrand nursing home.
About the facility
The facility currently consists of two units: Verandan with five general care places and Terrassen with six dementia care places. In 2025, an expansion is planned with more units and additional places for people with dementia.
