Activities and community
At Edestrand, various activities are arranged to promote both health and well-being. You can take part in walks, gardening in the flower beds, social gatherings in the courtyard and other group activities. Our goal is to create a meaningful everyday life for all residents.
Care and support
The unit manager, nurses, assistant nurses and care staff work here. Staff are available around the clock. You also have access to an occupational therapist and a physiotherapist. Each resident is seen as an individual and receives support based on their needs.
About the care home
Edestrand is located in central Harads and consists of 34 apartments, of which 6 are for people with dementia. The home is divided into three units called Gårdsgränd, Solgränd and Fiskgränd.
Apartments and environment
All apartments are on the ground floor, close to green areas, garden beds and outdoor patios. The front is framed by a traditional wooden fence, and the courtyard provides shelter from both view and wind. The home is bright, accessible and designed to make outdoor stays easier.
