Activities and community
At the care home, assistant nurses are available around the clock, many with specialist competence in dementia care. There are also nurses, an occupational therapist, a physiotherapist, a unit manager and a staff coordinator.
A responsible physician makes rounds once a week. Nurses are present during daytime Monday to Friday and are available evenings and weekends when needed.
Care and support
Erikslunden consists of 54 apartments divided into six units. Each unit has common areas with TV, radio, kitchen and dining room where meals are eaten together.
The care home is located in a green environment with pine forest, garden, barbecue areas and walking paths. There is also a sauna, hot tub, a small gym and a memory room with familiar objects from the past.
About the care home
All apartments are on the ground floor. Each apartment is equipped with a small kitchen, a large bathroom, medicine cabinet, safe, personal alarm and bed. Other furniture is brought by the resident to create a homelike atmosphere.
