Activities and community
The short-term care home is a place for recovery, safety and social interaction. There are opportunities for shared meals, activities and contact with both staff and other residents.
Care and support
At Garnis, assistant nurses, nurses, an occupational therapist, a physiotherapist, a unit manager and a staff coordinator work together.
A responsible physician makes rounds once a week. You can receive alternating care, stay for a period after hospitalisation, or receive support when extensive home care is not enough.
About the short-term care home
The facility consists of 20 places spread over two floors. Its purpose is to complement the home environment and provide temporary security and care.
Apartments and environment
Each apartment is furnished and has a large bathroom, medicine cabinet, safe, personal alarm and bed.
