Activities and community
At Sturegården, activities are arranged both within the units and together. Examples include singing, music, bingo, exercise, church services and outdoor activities. We cooperate with the Red Cross, pensioners’ organisations, church congregations and study associations to create variety and community.
Care and support
Assistant nurses, nurses, a unit manager and a staff coordinator work here. Many assistant nurses have specialist competence in dementia care.
Nurses are available during weekdays and can be called upon during evenings and weekends if needed. An occupational therapist and physiotherapist are also available. A responsible physician makes rounds once a week and home visits when necessary.
About the care home
Sturegården has 37 apartments on two floors. Each unit has a common living room and dining room where meals can be shared and social interaction can take place.

Each apartment has a small kitchen, a large bathroom, medicine cabinet, safe, personal alarm and bed. You bring your own furniture to create a homelike atmosphere.
