Activities and community
At Svedjebacka there is a common hall for group activities and entertainment. Music, parties, social gatherings and a monthly programme with different events are arranged.
The outdoor environment offers opportunities for gardening, planting, berry picking, painting, walking or enjoying the lake view. Residents and relatives can also borrow the common hall for celebrations such as birthdays.
Care and support
The unit manager, assistant nurses and a staff coordinator work here. An occupational therapist and physiotherapist are also available.
Nurses are on site Monday–Friday and can be called around the clock if needed. A responsible physician visits Svedjebacka once a week.
About the care home
Svedjebacka has two floors with apartments divided into six units. Each unit has a living room, dining room, kitchen and either a balcony or terrace.
Apartments and environment
The care home was built in 1963 and renovated in 1995. The outdoor areas are easily accessible and used for social gatherings, coffee and shared activities.
