Seniortorget

Seniortorget is a meeting place for seniors. Together we want to create safety, independence, joy, and community in everyday life.

Opening hours

Open: Tuesday–Friday 10:00–15:00
Visitor address: Hedenbrovägen 8 in the Garnis area

Public transport

We recommend taking the bus to Seniortorget. You can find all timetables on the Citybuss Bodens website.

During our opening hours you are always welcome to join for social interaction and community with others.

    10:30 Come and exercise with us at Seniortorget, we train together. The session is about 25 minutes long. Seated exercises only.

    10:30 Creative workshop – paint, knit, or create together with others. Acrylic paint is available; bring your own materials.
    13:00 In collaboration with the Osteoporosis Association, we offer a lecture: “How do I protect myself when falling – and how do I get up safely?” by Annika Sandin from Hägern Judo Club in Luleå.

    09:30 Breakfast at Seniortorget – join us at a set table. Registration required.

Activities with registration

Some activities at Seniortorget have a limited number of places. You therefore need to register in advance to make sure you can participate.

Our services

Seniortorget exists to create meaning and joy, promote a healthy everyday life, and reduce the feeling of loneliness for seniors.

At Seniortorget you can take part in information sessions, courses, and trial activities in areas such as:

  • Social community
  • Fall prevention
  • Food and exercise
  • Digitalisation and welfare technology

No registration is required, unless otherwise stated in the information for a specific activity.

Participation is free of charge. Coffee and refreshments are available at cost price.

No registration or records are kept when you take part in activities at Seniortorget, and all staff are bound by confidentiality.

Collaboration

Seniortorget collaborates with other services and guides you further within the municipality and society when needed.
