Applications for adults
You can receive advice, support, and treatment through the Intake Team. Call telephone +46 921 629 99 for advice or to apply for help. You can also apply in our digital service. Applications sent in the evening or on weekends are received the next working day.
Reporting concerns about an adult
If you suspect that an adult is being harmed because of misuse or addiction, contact the Intake Team on telephone +46 921 629 99. In acute danger, call 112.
Important to know:
- Provide all the information you have so we get a clear picture. If you later receive new important information, make a new report.
- If you do not have a legal duty to report, you may report anonymously. Do not state your name when you contact us. You cannot request anonymity afterwards.
- When the report has been received, we assess whether immediate support or protection is needed.
- During the first review, called the initial assessment, we may only contact the person the report concerns and the person who reported.
- As a private individual you will not receive feedback. Information during the initial assessment or an investigation is confidential, which means we are not allowed to share information without the adult person’s consent.
- The Social Services Act is based on voluntariness. Support is offered, but the person may decline. In serious cases, compulsory measures may be used.
- Reports sent in the digital service during evenings or weekends are received the next working day.
