Support via Boden Municipality
The municipal Social Services provide support to victims of crime and to their family members. The Social Services Act states that people who have been victims of crime must be able to receive help.
Contact the municipality’s Individual and Family Services to discuss what support is suitable for your situation.
In an emergency you must call 112.

You can call the national Victim Support line on telephone 116 006 or 0200-21 20 19.

Monday–Friday 09:00–19:00
Saturday–Sunday 09:00–16:00.
Support can be provided in several languages. If you need an interpreter, state which language you require.
What support can you receive from Victim Support?
- Counselling and guidance regarding, for example, making a police report, the legal process, insurance and compensation.
- Support in contacts with healthcare, public authorities, and aid organisations.
- Support before, during, and after a possible court hearing.
- Safety planning to reduce the risk of repeated victimisation.
- Referral to other services, for example a women’s shelter, if needed.
Cooperation with Victim Support Norrbotten
Victim Support Norrbotten is a non-profit, politically and religiously independent organisation providing support to victims of crime, family members, and witnesses. You may remain anonymous. Support is free of charge and you do not need to have filed a police report. All volunteers are bound by a duty of confidentiality.
