International School
Middle Years Programme
The MYP is designed for students aged 12-16 years old and shares a campus with the Swedish secondary school Stureskolan in Boden.
Middle Years Programme
Our goal is to inspire students to be capable, confident and adaptable learners in an ever changing global landscape. With this in mind, we have created a quality curriculum for students from MYP1-5, with each year building on the previous, in order to prepare students for the challenges of the DP program or the high school program of their choice. As a candidate school, we follow the mission statement of the International Baccalaureate® closely and "...aim to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect."
The International School of Boden is a Candidate School for the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. The schools are currently pursuing authorization as an IB World School. The schools share a common philosophy - a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Boden International School believes is important for our students.
