The chief guardian unit has fixed telephone hours two days a week. At other times you can leave a message by email or through the municipality’s Citizen Service.

The Chief Guardian Unit is located in the City Hall. Documents can be submitted and collected at the municipality’s Citizen Service. If you would like to meet an officer, please book an appointment in advance.

Chief Guardian Committee
The chief guardian committee is the municipal authority responsible for supervising legal guardians, administrators, and custodians.
The purpose of this supervision is to protect people who cannot safeguard their own rights, so that they are not disadvantaged financially or legally.
The committee’s responsibilities also include:
- Investigating the need for a legal guardian or administrator.
- In some cases, appointing legal guardians, for example for unaccompanied minors or missing persons.
